Ellen was such a pleasant lady- just so nice to be around. She was funny, kind, intelligent- a real gem. She really poured her heart into her work. I learned so much from observing her. My condolences to the family. May God give you strength and comfort you at this time.

Bob, Eli, and Matt,
I had the pleasure of working with Ellen at the Gan. We shared many holiday moments together with our two classes, bringing the spirit and love of the Jewish holidays to the little ones in our care. She was a puppet master and could wow the children with her telling of the Passover story. There was magic in the air when she taught. Ellen will always be my mentor and my friend. She was so happy that I brought her and Ana together at Tivkat Israel and I couldn't have been happier for both of them to work together. Ana had been my co worker for 8 years and I felt protective of her. Knowing that she was in good hands with Ellen gave me so such comfort.
Ellen and I share a love of talking about our children whenever we could.
I miss her.
Sending love and hugs your way.
