Elliott, one of my favorite male cousins: He always acted like he was glad to see me no matter how long or how recent it had been since he last saw me. And he could always make me laugh. My daughter Jeanie called him a "Gentle Giant." When she went to Word of Life Church in her wheelchair, she said he was always patient and helpful in making sure she was comfortable. I'm sure he's an usher at some door in Heaven, welcoming, with his wide, friendly smile, all the newcomers there. We who remain here can take a page from his book on smiling more and never meeting a stranger.

I'll miss you my Dear Brother Elliott. It's still not real to me that you're not here, but in my heart you're always be near. I'll never forget the good times we had over the years, this will help with all of my tears. It's still not real to me that you are gone, but I'll always remember that special bond. So many times you would drop by, no special reason, only to say hi. You were one of a kind, and that my dear brother will always be on my mind. Love you brother.
