Eloise Nolan Obituary

NOLAN ELOISE KATHRYN NOLAN Eloise Kathryn Nolan, 79, who as a super seller and top sales manager for World Book-Childcraft, Inc., received high level awards for exceptional sales performance and management, died September 5, 2009 at Stella Maris Nursing Home, Timonium, MD. She had dementia. Mrs. Nolan was honored with a special award by the president of World Book-Childcraft in 1988 while residing with her family in Annandale, VA. She was cited for "helping light up the lives of countless children and parents" by selling over 3000 sets of World Book-Childcraft encyclopedia during the 20 year period that she sold families in Fairfax county of Northern Virginia. In addition, Mrs. Nolan achieved much success as a registered nurse prior to World Book and afterwards as a licensed real estate representative. She is survived by her husband of 57 years at Mercy Ridge, Timonium; her son, Dr. Timothy Nolan of Rochester, NY; two daughters, Kathryn Rushdoony of Upper Saddle River, NJ and Patricia Prewitt of Lutherville, MD; three grandsons and one granddaughter. Funeral Mass will be offered at Stella Maris Chapel, 2300 Dulaney Valley Rd., Timonium, Friday 11 to 11:30 a.m., with funeral mass to follow at 11:30 a.m. Interment will take place in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by MITCHELL-WIEDEFELD FUNERAL HOME, INC.
