I had the distinct pleasure of working under Bud's tutelage as assistant credit manager in Falls Church (Noland) from 1969-1971. I have alway given him all the credit for the successful career that I have enjoyed with Ferguson Enterprises because of what he taught me and the example he was as to how to treat other people, both older and younger than he. I was only 25 years old when I was asked to spend some time with Bud but in accepting that opportunity, I thought that I already knew everything I needed to know about credit until I met Bud.I quickly learned that I knew nothing compared to what he knew and taught me. To his family and friends, thank you for allowing him to share 2 years of work experience with me. I will always remember Bud for his intellect and his friendship. My condolences to all of you and my thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of remembrance of a dear loved one. I'll always treasure the time I was able to spend with him.
