Emmanuèle Marie-José PAUYO
On Tuesday, May 10, 2022, our beloved Emmanuèle Marie-José Pauyo passed on to be in the eternal company of God. She has rejoined her family in Heaven: father - Edner Pauyo, mother - Esther Latortue, and sisters - Marie-Michele Pauyo Chen-Young and Louise Marie Henriette Pauyo Zadi.
Marie-José was born on December 24, 1944 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. She spent her life serving the Lord and lived every day spreading God's Ministry. She gave everything she had in service to others, whether volunteering, sponsoring causes or financially. In addition to her charitable works; she spent decades volunteering at the National Building Museum - returning to her passion in design and architecture, having received a diploma from Maryland Drafting Institute in Engineering Drafting Technology. Marie-José worked tirelessly to care for others. And now she rests in eternal peace.
Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. at the Shrine of the Sacred Heart, 3211 Sacred Heart Way NW, Washington, DC 20010. Her burial will immediately follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, MD.

Marie Jose was such a nice friend, we talked often and she had so many plans for the Haitian children, her generosity was unlimited concerning them. She will offer me a rosary every year for my birthday and I will pray for her daily while using it, she was a beautiful soul, happy spirit and she went directly to heaven welcomed with joy by the angels. Be in peace Marie Jose, you have done well.
