Eric Spearman Obituary
On Wednesday, December 21, 2005. Beloved son of Herman and Lillian Spearman. He is also survived by his loving sisters and brothers, Gloria (Terrence) Mackie, Gwendolyn L., H. Curtis and Jerome F. Spearman and Reginald Smith; nephew, Jovan; niece, Roxann; devoted friends, Leon, Mark and Jeffrey; other relatives and friends. Viewing will be held on Thursday, December 29 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at LEE FUNERAL HOME, INC., Branch Ave. and Coventry Way, Clinton, MD, where services will follow at 1 p.m.
Interment Resurrection Cemetery.

This is in loving memory of our youngest Son Eric. Not a day goes by that we don't think about you. We love and miss you very much. The memory of those happy days when we were all together was such a happy time.
God gave us a wonderful Son. We lost a life companion, you and your Father. Our beautiful and precious Herman and Eric forever you will live in our hearts. Eric your photo helps us to remember your beautiful smile. Living without you has truly been very very hard. But we know someday we will see you again. We thank God for the precious time we had with you, just wasn't long enough. Boo Boo we truly miss not having you here with us. Eric you gave us strength because you believed in faith. We are everything because you loved us so much and we all loved you so much too. We all are blessed because we were loved by you.

I will always remember you Boo Boo. I am so thankful we had a chance to talk before you left. Our last full conversation I remember our laughter and you asking me to come stay in the other house.- Sweet Boo Boo. I am so honored to know out of no where you asked me to come and you wanted me close to you. You always called me and sent me so many pictures of your travels. Shortly after that conversation you went missing and I knew something was wrong - because you always replied back to me and when I wasn't getting any responses back - I knew you was not receiving the messages. I found out through sophisticated black hair that my mentor had passed. I was calling and getting no answer and just assumed his was busy. 11 years later this still stings.I am just finding the strength to pick up my makeup sticks again. He held me as a baby in Fort Dix. Eric, always remember those we love are never really lost to us. We feel them in so many special ways. Every day our hearts are in pain knowing things will never be the same. But your light continues to shine brightly in our hearts. So Boo Boo you continue to be our baby Angel and watch over us. Eric, what a difference the years make since you have been gone. There are many days we see things that remind us of you. We are grateful to God that he allowed you to be a part of our lives and we a part of yours. We love and miss you. It has been painful years since you left us. Rest in God's loving arms until we meet again. We lost you ten years ago and that is hard for us to believe. We all miss you every day and some pieces of you will always be with us as we pursue our lives.

No one will ever know how much we miss you or the deep pain in our hearts in having to return you back to God. Almost ten years of missing you, our hearts still ache with sadness and secret tears continue to flow. No one will ever know what it meant to lose you. A big piece of your heart now lives with your heavenly father. We miss you every moment of every day. Time has not removed the loss we still feel in losing you. Eric last year we completed all of our holidays and birthdays without you here with us. It was very hard because you always loved to have the family together to celebrate on special days. We do know that we now have a special Angel celebrating with us. We all love and miss you so much. We promise never to say goodbye, but to see you again.
They say it's a beautiful journey from the old world to the new. Someday we will make that journey which will lead us straight to you. Eric, the Holidays are almost here. It's been a very long nine years without you here with us. We try and visit your resting place as much as we can. The weather is so cold sometimes. We go there sometimes to put flowers there with care, but no one knows the heartache as we turn and leave you there. We just wish you were here with us. We know you are with us in spirit. One day we will put our arms around you again and hold you tight. Eric, you always saw the best in everyone. The legacy you left of hope and courage will never be forgotten.
December is filled with so many mixed emotions. It's the last time we saw you. So we need to cherish those days. But the last part of December was so tough that no one could ever imagine the pain and suffering for your family unless they are one of the unfortunate one's that lost a child. It's cold, lonely, sad, empty, confusing, and painful. You just ache like you have a chronic disease. You spin in your head looking for reasons or answers to your questions but don't find an answer. As time progresses you will find the strength and courage to be strong, but it's not the same.
Eric, we hope you have a good Christmas. We know Christmas for us will not be the same without you. When days are sad and lonely and everything goes wrong, we seem to hear you whisper “Cheer up and carry on.” Each time we look at your picture you seem to smile and say don't cry, I am in God's keeping, we will meet again someday. This is in loving memory of our beloved and wonderful Eric. You were truly someone very special to us. You touched so many lives, brightened so many days, and lightened so many hearts. This is to my beautiful Son, brother, and uncle. It's been over six and a half long years that we have been without you. Our hearts are sad but memories of the kind, gentle and loving person you were will always be with us. May you continue to rest peacefully our precious Son, brother and uncle.
Death separates us for a time. Christ will reunite us forever. We miss you, your love and your beautiful smile. Eric we all were so blessed the Lord allowed us to share that time with you. You were a great Son, brother and a great uncle to all of us.
Words cannot explain our hurt and pain, but our Heavenly Father has given us the strength to continue on. We thank God for the good times we shared. We all love and miss you dearly. Eric you are the greatest person that God ever blew breath in. You are still loved, still missed and still remembered. Your memory will cling to our hearts until we rest by your side. We will always remember you in our prayers. We still have a big gap in our hearts that cannot be filled.
You are our loved one and you've gone away to a home in God's own Heaven where we pray to meet someday. As we celebrate your legacy, we don't need a special day to bring you to our minds. We do not need a special day to bring you to our minds. There will always be heartache and many silent tears, but always a precious memory of the days when you were here with us. Eric we will always hold you close within our hearts and there you will remain always to walk with us throughout our lives until we see you again.
After over six and a half hard years it is still so sad to think of the briefness of your life. We can only imagine all the great things you would have done if granted more time. Eric you affected everyone you knew in a positive way and it is so obvious that you are missed by so many.
You left quite a legacy for a young man. We all are so proud of you and so grateful that you are our son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. Boo Boo you are in our hearts and soul forever. We love and miss you. Eric your strength and courage will be with us always. You are not alone. We will always be with you. Eric our hearts are very heavy today because we lost our best friend and nothing is quite the same. Not a day goes by that we don't call your name. Words cannot explain our hurt and pain. But our Heavenly Father has given us the strength to continue on. We thank God for the good times we all shared. We love you and miss you dearly.
Six years ago our lives changed forever. A son, brother, uncle's love is something we keep locked deep in our hearts, always knowing it will be there to comfort us. A son's love for his family is everlasting and will never end. To have to love and then to part is the greatest sorrow of one's heart. Eric it's hard to believe it has been over six years since you left us to go and be with God. Some of us are blessed to be with God before others. Boo Boo you were taken from us much too soon. Angels took your hand and led you to your final resting place. Those of us left on Earth must live the Christian life and pray until we meet again.
The hole in our hearts however is painful and will always be because a precious one from us is gone. Your voice we loved is stilled. A place is vacant in our hearts which never can be filled. You are our devoted Son, precious Brother and caring Uncle and your love is still our guide. We cannot see you, but you are always by our side.
Eric, our deep love and fond memories help to ease the pain and sorrow, but the void can never be filled. You are gone but not forgotten. Your light continues to shine brightly in our hearts. Eric there isn't a day that goes by that you aren't in our thoughts and prayers. We know that you are with our Lord Jesus Christ. Always remember you are not alone. We will always be with you. Eric's voice which we loved is stilled; a place is vacant in our hearts which can never be filled. He was our devoted Son, precious Brother, caring Uncle and Friend. Eric, your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you, you are always by our side. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same. But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
We stood in your hospital room while God took you right before our eyes. It has been over six years ago and our hearts remain broken. The pain is like an open wound that can't be bandaged. We know that God heals all wounds. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone, for part of us went with you on the night God called you home.
Eric your memory is our treasure and it warms our hearts and holds our souls. If memories bring us closer, we are never apart. You are our Angel. Eric we all love and miss you so very much. May God continue to bless you and may you Rest in Peace. The Legacy you left of hope and courage will never be forgotten. I am sure you had a good Easter in Heaven with our Lord and Savior.

Little did we know that night that God was calling you home. Time has not removed the loss we still feel in losing you. You are still in our lives daily and we will continue to keep your memory alive. Another sad year and we are all just a little closer to seeing you again Son, Brother, and Uncle. Keep watching over us. We all love you today and forever and we pray one day we will all be joined together.
Eric the world changes from year to year and friends from day to day, but we will never stop loving you. The memory of those happy days when we were all together were so special. You are home with God now. Boo Boo you will always be our little baby boy, so rest in peace.
Eric they say there is a reason that time will heal, but neither time nor reason will change the way we feel for no one knows the heartache that lies behind our smiles. No one knows how many times we have broken down and cried.

On the sixth anniversary of your passing we all are still full of tears. Eric you are dearly missed and forever in our hearts. Love and prayers go with you.
Boo Boo, you will always be present in our hearts and mind and with every decision we make. Eric we weren't ready for you to go. Our hearts are broken and the pain is unbearable. Everyone says you all have to let go and move on, yes but how. Those we love don't go away. They walk beside us everyday unseen, unheard, but always near. You are still loved, still missed and very dear to all of us. Loving memories keep you near.
God decided that your work was done here on Earth that day and he had a much bigger job waiting for you in Heaven. We all miss you very much and you will forever live in our hearts each and every day.
