Alan Clay Spearman, 64, of Easley, SC, husband of Kelley McKinney Spearman went home to be with Jesus on February 26, 2026.
He was born in Birmingham, Alabama in 1962 to the late Colonel Franklin Albert Spearman, II and Mary Chaney Spearman. Alan was a graduate of Klein High School, class of 1980, and a graduate of Clemson University where he earned a BS in Computer Science, Class of 1985 and an MBA degree, Class of 1993. Alan was a faithful member of Rock Springs Baptist Church, where he enjoyed serving the Lord by playing Trombone in the orchestra. Alan retired from Michelin North America after 37 years of service. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, restoring military vehicles and his 1967 Corvair. Alan was a founding member of The Military History Museum of the Carolinas and an active member of The Upstate Corvair Club. Alan was blessed with many talents ranging from caring for his
granddaughters, maintaining our home, vehicle restoration, auto mechanic, welding, cooking, playing the trombone and so many more. Alan has left behind a legacy of love for his family and friends.
In addition to his wife of 41 years, he is survived by his children Franklin Albert Spearman, IV (Zenaida), Ms. Kendall Alexandra Spearman, grandchildren Kaitlyn Isabel Spearman, Kimberly Michaela Spearman, Emma Kristy Spearman, Abigail Rose Spearman and his brothers Franklin A. Spearman, III (Debbie), Charles Mark Spearman, (Beth).
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM, on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Robinson Funeral Home – Powdersville Road. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 AM in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
