Love,

Your niece,

I will always remember the support and inspiration you gave me to become a law enforcement officer. From the early years when you arrived at Grandma Williamson's in the state police cruiser until my years of trying for a career. I have always admired the manner in which you went about the job of being a police officer but more importantly a good role model and understanding human being. You never lost your sense of humor and to my knowledge your temper. Two men have made me a success in my chosen profession, you and my dad. I thank you for all the support and when you and dad are sitting together in heaven please let him know that all is well in the Sheriff business and that I love and miss both of you very much. I will do my utmost never to embarass either of you and will try and make you proud. No one will ever know how much pride I took in following in your footsteps.

Love,

Bob

You will always hold a special place in our hearts. We will miss your kindness and thoughtfulness. Most of all seeing you during hunting season. Gone, but never forgotten.

Here's to the good times we had on the mountain. We will fish again on that big trout pond above.

I'll always remember your kindness during Ray's illness and later his passing. You and Laura were wonderful to Mom and I'll always appreciate that. Nick carries many fond memories of you. He still has the hat and the patches you gave him when he wanted to be a police officer just like you! He is comforted by the image of you and his PopPop talking about fishing once again.

We love you! - Linda, Frank, Nick and Emma

I will always treasure my memories of you and all the good times we have shared along the river. Every time I hear a good joke, I'll still think of you. I know you and Dad have been reunited and are watching over all of us. Thank you for being so kind to me and enabling me to have such wonderful childhood memories. I love you very, very much. "While we are mourning the loss of a friend, others are rejoicing to meet him behind the veil." ~ John Taylor. Until we meet again, I remain your loving niece, Vickie Lynn.
