On Saturday, May 11, 2002. The beloved mother of three daughters, Antonia Gross, Joyce Covington and Brenda Carter; five sons, Rodney, Michael, Cornel, Darnell and Rev. Carlton Peters. She is also survived by 70 grandchildren and a host of great- and great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Frederick Jonas Peters, one daughter, Ethaline Pendleton, two sons, Ivan Day and Gary Peters. On Friday May 17, 2002, the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of Homegoing Celebration at 11 a.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 2409 Ainger Pl, SE. Interment Maryland National Park, Laurel, MD. Rev. Clinton W. Austin, Pastor. Rev. Carlton F. Peters officiating. Arrangements by POPE.
