Ethel Ruby Burroughs
On Sunday, January 15, 2017 in Springfield, VA. Beloved mother of Cornelius Burroughs, Claudia Seay, Nanette Myers and Regina Kendall. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Greene Funeral Home, 814 Franklin St., Alexandria, VA 22314 on Friday, January 27, 2017 from 6 until 8 p.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2017 there will be a viewing from 11 a.m. until time of service as 12 noon in The Belvoir Chapel, 5950 12th St., Ft Belvoir, VA 22060. Interment in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.

Dear Burroughs Family: We are saddened by the lost of our dear Cousin Ethel. We have fond memories of visiting with her doing many family reunions. My husband and I enjoyed listening to her beautiful stories of her children and grandchildren. We thought it so special that one grandson and his wife took time to bring her to recent reunions. May memories of her smiling face help fill the void. Our prays are with the family.

Hi Family, I was so sadden to hear the news of Ethel's passing. I have always enjoyed having conversations with her about family history. She had even written me and send a few pictures. I am praying for you all and remember Psalms 23!
