I would like to extend my heart, as well as prayers to Fannie and her family, which I've known Fannie basically all of my life where I was reared in DC. May God comfort, and keep you, as well as your family in perfect peace, because he will never leave, or forsake you. Gene's love, and spirit will dwell with you forever. Just remember, he is at peace now with God. When all family is gone, and you are left all alone, just look to the hills from whence your help cometh, because it comes from the Lord. Will call you soon.
Respectfully,
Annie Jacobs Allen

Ma Fannie:
Daddy Gene will surely be missed. I will miss the laughs that he and I had about me wearing dresess as I grew up. He used to always tell me how he thought little girls look so cute in dresses. I will miss our family cookouts, parties, picnics, cabarets, etc. Know that he is not alone, because momma and daddy are with him. But, most importantly he is with our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ where he will suffer no more. Know that if there is anything that I can do, do not hesitate to call on me. My home number is (301) 420-3195. I love you all - we are more than just friends; "we are family."

On behalf of the Woodard Family, please accept our heartfelt sympathy on your lost. Mr. Adams possessed a warm personality and gracious sense of humor. He could certainly add a smile to what one would consider a gloomy day. May the Lord be with you through this difficult time.
