On Friday, August 10, 2007, FRANCES AMITAY ABRAMSON of Washington, DC, beloved wife of 52 years of Lee R. Abramson; devoted mother of Daniel and Marc; beloved sister of Morris Amitay; adoring grandmother of Karl and Eliora Abramson; beloved aunt of Michael, Stephen, Cheryl Aviva and Rae Amitay. Funeral services were held on Sunday, August 12 at the Ohr Kodesh Congregation. Interment Judean Memorial Gardens. Family will be sitting shiva at the residence through Friday, August 17. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Yiddish Book Center, 1021 West St., Amherst, MA 01002.
