Unfortunately our time with Frank was limited to the McCarthy family reunions.
However that was more than enough time to see what a great husband, father and brother he was to everyone.
We all wish you the strength to get through this most difficult time.
He will be greatly missed.

My name is Jude Nyambi originally from Cameroon in Africa. I am parishoner with St John The Baptist. I usually stop-by occationally at the church to say hello to our lord when going to work. This morning our lord used the late Frank Mccathy to teach me some fantastic leasons of life. I stopped at the church to say hello as ussual only to find out that there was no place for me to park my car. I then realized there was a funeral service going on. Normally I would have just stayed and pray in the car, but with such a crowd, I decided to step in and find out who is this Guy that could pull such a crowd even bigger than our normal high mass on Sunday. When I walked in, I listened to 3 eulogies from 3 children of late Frank. In deed I was moved. There were occational loughter as they spoke. Then I started thinking about myself as a dad, a husband and a friend to others. there was an instant reflection of my life and action as a dad, or husband as reflected to what i just heard about late frank. To cut a long story short I was very blessed with all the wonderfull stories I heard about late frank. I know he was a very good man. I did not know Frank when I walked into the church but within 20 minutes it seemed like I knew late frank because I was so affectionate to all what he did while on earth. Today I learn about the true meaning of Faith, Family and freindship. I believe Frank is an usher in heven with God. God bless you all as you celebrate such a great life.

Aunt Betty

You and your family are in our prayers. Uncle Francis was always so kind and sincere with all of his neices and nephews. I know he carried on that same approach with his grandchildren and loved attending their events and taking them everywhere. He made an impact on so many lives.

Betty and family,
So, so, sorry to hear of Frank's passing. I had no idea he had been ill. He was always so upbeat and smiling every time I saw him, even when I kept calling him Dick. He was such a classy man. He will be sorely missed by me, and the Irish dance community.

Frank was always a man I enjoyed running into at Argyle CC, a pleasant, friendly and well-met gentleman. I always marveled that he was still caring his own golf bag round the course (as well as the quality of his game) and often hoped that I could do as well when I reached his age. I will miss him. My sincerest sympathy.
