FRANCIS MEADS Obituary
Francis M. Meads
Francis M. Meads of Fairfax, Virginia, passed away on October 19, 2021. Frank served 30 years in the Army and was a distinguished Purple Heart recipient in the Vietnam War. Frank and Janet W. Meads were married for 13 years, from 2008 to 2021. After his distinguished career in the military, Frank served in the Civil Service for 10 years. Frank also was a general home contractor, running his own company for years. A lover of good jokes, Frank enjoyed traveling both in the U.S. and abroad with Janet.Frank is survived by his wife Janet as well as his daughter-in-law Lynn Nolan and her husband Keith of Odessa, FL.; his one granddaughter Courtney Harris and his great granddaughter Ella Harris. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on November 15, 2021 at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home, 9902 Braddock Road, Fairfax, VA. His burial will be at Arlington National Cemetery on a date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to the American Heart Society.
