Frank Eason Obituary

Frank Haywood Eason, age 71, passed away on April 13, 2024. Born and raised in Suffolk, VA, he later moved to Maryland where he established a successful painting and home improvement business. In his leisure time, Frank enjoyed and excelled at all sports, especially billiards. His masterful and ruthless command of the pool table was legendary. In 1999, he qualified for the APA Singles 8 ball Championship in Las Vegas.
Frank's death leaves an enormous void in the lives of so many. The world is a sadder place without his generosity, his compassion, his humor, his smile. He is survived by his wife, Andrea, sisters Jean (Paul) Williams and Denise (Thomas) Purdue, nephew Bashea, niece Shememe, step daughter Brandi Seaborn, numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. He was predeceased in death by his parents, Hattie and Thomas Eason and brothers James, Drake, Mario, and Purcell. A memorial service and reception will be held on Saturday May 18, 2024 at Black Rock Center for the Arts, Germantown, MD at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Kidney Fund or Peace Players International.
