I am sorry to hear of Howard´s passing. He was truly a nice guy-I met him in 1970-1971 @ the DKE house at UVA and dated him that year, but knew he was going to study in France his junior year, so we never touched base after that. I´m sorry he suffered from such a terrible disease, but glad he had a full and happy life, marriage, and children.

Howard & I shared a room at DKE fraternity house in year 2 at UVa. He was witty, intelligent, & calm. Tho we did not connect often until about 20 yrs ago, I admire Howard for making efforts on occasion to reunite with DKEs for UVA sporting events in Cville. He was always pleasant company & took interest in others. He had grace & poise in handling his health situation. I admire his courage to face his adversities & keep moving forward.
RIP, brother !

We are so sorry to hear of his passing. I remember him volunteering with Nancy's team at Green Spring Gardens. He so loved being around plants and plant people.
