Franz, whom I knew i as a UC Berkeley senior and young post-grad, was quite simply a prince-devoted son, family man, and public servant. I´m sorry to have lost touch, but feel sure America and the world are better for his having been among us. My sincere condolences to his wife and family. Even fifty years later, his memory is a blessing.
