FRED ALBERT CARTER (Age 69)
Of District Heights, MD. Transitioned peacefully on April 12, 2016. Survied by five daughters; four sisters; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; his church family, a host of other relatives and good friends. Visitation will be held at New Mount Olive Baptist Church, 710 58th Street, NE, Washington, DC 20019 from 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m., on Thursday, May 19, 2016. Interment will be Friday, May 20, 2016 at Arlington National Cemetery.

Dearest Freddy. .....I am so sorry for your loss. I know how much you love your dad. I am happy that he is suffering no more and finally with his angel... you have his legacy here on earth each time you look at your children. What a blessing! Love you!

Our heartfelt condolences are sent to you Freddye and the rest of the family. Your father and my late husband became friends as they sung in the Brotherhood Chorus at St. Paul Baptist Church. They are now singing in the Heavenly Choir and watching over all of us left behind. May God comfort your hearts.
