JENKINS, GEORGE CLINTON (Age 70)
Of Waldorf, MD, died July 15, 2003 at his home. He was a U.S. Navy Korean War veteran, a member of the American Legion, a member of the White Plains Baptist Church, and a member of the St. Charles Mall Walkers. He was employed by Gardiner Outdoor Products. Born September 1, 1932 in Seat Pleasant, MD, he was the son of the late Marshall Jenkins and the late Helen Jenkins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Marshall Jenkins and Jack Jenkins, and sister, Marjorie Jenkins. He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Mary Ann Jenkins; son, Steve Jenkins; daughters, Margie Flerlage and Linda Riddle; and seven grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Eva Davis, Kathleen Stevens; and his brother, Harry Jenkins. Visitation will be at Lee Funeral Home, Clinton, MD on Monday, July 21 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., where funeral services to be held on Tuesday, July 22 at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Cheltenham Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.
