GIULIANO ALFREDO BOTTINI (Age 86)
On Tuesday, May 23, 2017, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Rina Bottini; father of Daniela (Adriano Carbonaro) and Gianpaolo Bottini; brother of Vanda Bottini; grandfather of Adrian Galindez-Bottini. Also survived by a host of family and friends, both here and in Italy. Relatives and friends may call at St. Bernadette's Church, 72 University Blvd. East, Silver Spring, MD, on Tuesday, May 30 from 10 to 11 am, where mass of christian burial will follow at 11 am. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

We both will remember Giuliano for his kindness and vivacious personality. He was so gracious to welcome us to his place in Italy when we travelled there. He was a lovely man and a great neighbor. May he be at peace now.

I like to present my condolences to Giuliano's family.
Although I came on the Washington's restaurant scene long after Guiliano has already made his marks, (After the Bagatelle era) I meet Giuluano in 1982 , I will always remember his smile, his kindness and charm. He was a model to me as a person. I used to tell him that i I was lucky enough to grow old I wanted to be like him.
