I met Glen for the first time when I relocated from Connecticut to Lake Ridge, Virginia in the summer of 1982. Glen had also relocated from North Carolina at the same time, so you would say we had something in common. I have fond memories of our time together, raising our families, the neighborhood block parties, our constant summer trips to the beach, and of course Thanksgiving and Christmas. Although we moved away from each other we continued our friendship. I shall remember Glen as a loyal friend, who worked diligently to become a successful entrepreneur, and a dedicated and loving family man. He will truly be missed. Rest in peace, my friend.

I met Mr. Kodani several years ago through his son and now my partner Beauyn. Meeting the father of someone you are dating is not always the easiest thing to do. It is even harder when the father of the person you are dating is as successful as Mr. Kodani. I can remember the first time Beauyn's parents had us over for dinner. I was reluctant to say much almost the entire meal, mostly out of fear I would say something dumb. My nerves were soon put to rest as Mr. Kodani shared stories with us about growing up on Maui, attending boarding school, working on the farm, and playing football. Fast forward many years later... I have now shared countless meals and time with him and his family. Mr. Kodani graciously welcomed me into his home and was a great man who is one-of-a-kind. I have lost a friend. He will be missed.
