This is such a touching and heart wrenching tragedy. I watched the strength each of you carry through these very trying times, and I know your dad, your husband, is so PROUD as I am, watching you all display HIS strength inside you in your own "special" ways. I'm reminded of how fragile we all are in times like these; but also shown how strong we become from the power of God. No words can depict or imply the love you all display daily as you walk in a world, that no longer has the light of your Dad, your Husband, but know that his light shines forever as you continue to glow. Love you much...You are the Light!! Well Done - Eddie

When my daughter called me this morning to tell me of Eddie's passing, the first thing that flashed in front of me was Eddie's beautiful smile. My daughter, Tonya; and son, Timothy, went to school with Eddie in Wichita, KS from grade school through high school. My heartfelt sympathy and condolences go out to his children and family. May you be comforted by God's love and peace in the days to come. With Love, Patricia Fox (Los Angeles, CA)

Eddie and I played little league football together for years and we remained frineds through high school. While we were both in college I unexpectedly received a call from him one day, he was attending Howard Univ. in D.C. and that was the last time I spoke with him. Eddie and I were always the biggest on our teams, he could always out run me but I could always kick the football further. I have thought of Eddie often, I look forward to the day I get to tease him and laugh with him again. John Shaw

Eddie was HUGE to say the least when I seen him the first day of school in fifth grade. He towered over everyone. I became his friend right away. I found later he was gentle giant. Rest in peace gentle giant.

Eddie I remember sitting next to you in class at Chisholm Trail, and they had to get you a larger desk because of you were one of the tallest kids in our class, you kept us all laughing with your humor and soft smile. You drew me a picute of a football once and gave it to me...you will be missed my friend.

saddened beyond belief... but found it very ironic that our elder's talk at services today focused on more than 15 scriptures instructing us that God is the "Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort"... It will be hard ... but let him comfort all of you now!
