GREGG OWINGS LANHARDT  
Gregg Owings Lanhardt, 58, of Mechanicsville, MD passed away on March 9, 2015 at MedStar St. Mary's Hospital, in Leonardtown, MD, after a long illness. Born July 7, 1956 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late George Edward Lanhardt and the late Lucy Elaine Harrison Lanhardt.  Gregg was Co-Owner and Vice President of McCrea Heating and Air Conditioning. He grew up in Hyattsville, MD. Gregg lived life to the fullest. He worked hard, played hard and loved deeply. His passions were his family, friends and his work. He loved riding motorcycles, boating on the Patuxent River and hosting family celebrations. He was a devoted husband, father, step-father, brother, grandfather and friend.  In addition to his parents, Gregg was predeceased by his sister, Linda Lanhardt DeMarco and nephew Tyler Lanhardt  Gregg is survived by his loving wife, Betsy Walker Lanhardt, son, Brandon Lanhardt, daughter, Ashley Lanhardt, step-daughter, Christy Hardy, brother, Wayne Edward Lanhardt (Darlene Rose), sister, Leslee Lanhardt-Metz (James Kinnett), and granddaughter, Hannah Marie Hardy. The family will receive friends on Saturday, the 14th of March, 2015 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A Funeral Service will be held at Brinsfield-Echols on Sunday, the 15th of March 2015 at 1 p.m. Repass at Middleton Hall, 4045 Renner Road, Waldorf, MD 20602 at 3 p.m. on Sunday.
