Sister,

Thinking of you today, and wondering what you would say to me right now. Your absence has truly paid a toll on my journey in life as a young man, and I only wish you were here for me to share more with you. Our Dad has not been the same since you left us, and he is eagerly waiting to see you again. I pray that your love and energy pushes him to continue to move in life, and to enjoy the rest of it to the fullest. I know you wouldnt want it any other way. Our love for you is forever! Rest easy my beautiful big sister.

Greta was one of the bright spots in my days working at Gannett. She made me feel welcome and a part of the family there. I am still in shock that she has been called home, but I have the comfort of knowing she is home with the Lord. My prayers and thoughts are with her family and just know she is with you in your hearts, minds and spirits.

To Greta,
I heard of your passing late yesterday evening and I was very sad to hear. I remember as little children growing up, you lived on Underwood Street and I lived on Tuckerman Street. We would sometime play together in the alley behind our houses. Anthony was a little younger than you. I can remember how over protected you were about your brother. We always had fun.

To The Family,
My family and I thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of grief.

Dear Family and Friends,

John 13:36 - Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards.

Greta fought the good fight. She has finished the course and she has kept the faith. She now wears a crown of Glory.

May God bless us all and show us favor as He has graced Greta.

Love,
The Dougherty Family

Dear Sister,

I will miss you so much because you meant the world to me and you have always been my right hand and sometimes both hands. I will continue to be strong so I can be here for Ma and Grandma because I know that is what you would want me to do. You have always been the stronger one and that’s why you always kept your head up, smiled and laughed and kept it moving even when you were not feeling well.

Now you don’t have to worry about the days when you were not feeling well and still got up and went to work or did others things that took a lot of your energy because you are in Haven now with the Lord enjoying yourself Without a worry in the world.

I will be visiting you often and will always love my one and only SISTER!

Love Yea!

Dear Sister,

If tears could build a stairway
and thoughts a memory lane
I'd walk right up to Heaven
and bring you home again.

No Farewell words were spoken
No time to say good-bye
You were gone before I knew it
And only God knows why.

My heart's still active in sadness
And secret tears still flow
What it meant to lose you
No one can ever know.

But now I know you want us
To mourn for you no more
To remember all the happy times
Life still has much in store.

Since you'll never be forgotten
I pledge to you today
A hallowed place within my heart
Is where you'll always stay.

God knows why, with chilling touch,
Death gathers those we love so much,
And what now seems so strange and dim,
Will all be clear, when we meet Him.

Love Always,

Greg
