Remembering Guy and all of our years working together and all of the fun times we had over the years at the Kilty Invitational golf trips. Much love to all of his family, I know you miss his presence but the memories are a treasure that will always be with you.

Joan and Family , I just learned of Guy's passing.I was so fortunate to have spent some time on the phone with him a few months ago when I was told he was ill. You know how much of a friend he was,and how important an influence he was to me...way back in "Harper's Space Cadets" (First General Mortgage ) time. You know he never hired a guy with a moustache...until !!
You have our sincere sympathy, and hope that all goes well for you and your boys, Guy was a very special one-of-a-kind ! Best to you,and much love, Dick Shoemaker

Aunt Joan & Family,

Hearing about Uncle Guy brought me great sadness. I have so many fond memories of hanging out at the house in Kensington and going to Redskins games. Guy was always kind to me. Because of Uncle Guy I started my career in banking which still continues today...happily.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Dear Aunt Joan & Family,
All of you are dear to me as close friends of our family over the years. It grieves me to hear of your loss, but I am certain your hearts while heavy are drawn to celebrating his life as is mine. My memories of Uncle Guy are filled with the warmth of his kindness to people in general and to my family in particular which I witnessed from my youth.

To us who survive him, Uncle Guy's passing away is untimely. However, I trust it comforts you to know that God planned that day from the beginning of time. Psalm 139:16 says, "in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me (Guy) when as yet there was none of them."

All of you are in my prayers.

It was with much sadness I discovered that Guy had passed away. He, along with Joe Kilty, interviewd and hired me to work at FVB. Thirty yars later I find myself losing those I considered friends.

As with Tom May I will be out of town when his life is celebrated. Know that my prayers will be with your family on that day.

Dear Joan & Family,
I worked with Guy for many years at First Virginia and was one of the "Kilty Golf Group". Guy was a wonderful friend and co worker and I always enjoyed his sense of humor, distinctive laugh and his ability to "cut to the chase". We will all miss him in our lives. I regret I am out of town and will not be there for the viewing and funeral but please know our hearts and thoughts are with you all and we extend our deepest sympathy to you and the family.
