Harvey Hankins Obituary
On April 21, 2004 at Georgetown University Hospital. Beloved husband of Patricia W. Hankins; devoted father of Ivan, Darryl (Brenda) and Carolyn Hankins; loving brother of Earl and Wilma Hankins, Sudine Turner, Mary Bell and Gloria Walker. Also survived by eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, two sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, other relatives and friends. On Tuesday, April 27, friends may visit with the family from 5 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. at Second Baptist Church S.W., 1200 Canal St. S.W., Dr. H. Joseph Franklin, Pastor. Interment 10 a.m. Wednesday at Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lombardi Cancer Center, Georgetown University Hospital, 3800 Reservoir Rd. N.W., Washington, D.C. 20007.

Be encouraged, know that God will wipe away all tears. but the journey must continue. Were only here to visit, to pause and do our best. But we'll meet again in Glory, where the Lord will give us rest.
