HAZEL RANKIN Obituary
HAZEL RANKIN
Of McLean, VA died on March 25, 2012 at Reston Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" Ward; a daughter, Charlotte Mosley (John); two sons, David Smith and John Smith; three grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Nell Bourg of Louisiana and Ruth Pierce (Charles); two brothers, Robert L. Sims (Lily) of Memphis, TN and William Jerry Sims. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ollie and Lloyd Sims; her first, husband Preston Overstreet; second husband, Jim Smith; third husband, Robert J. Rankin; and son, Alan Smith. Mrs. Rankin attended Wayne County Mississippi Schools. She worked in the dental field for more than 30 years. Family and friends are invited to attend Mrs. Rankin's Life Celebration at MONEY and KING FUNERAL HOME, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, VA on Friday, March 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1205 Dolley Madison Blvd., McLean, VA on Saturday, March 31 at 2 p.m. Interment Memorial Park Mausoleum, Memphis, TN on Wednesday, April 4 at 11:30 a.m.The online guestbook is available at:www.moneyandking.com
