Heiko Jaehnigen Obituary
JAEHNIGEN HEIKO KLAUS JAEHNIGEN (Age 47) Died from complications related to a long illness on March 26, 2009 at his home in Columbia, Maryland. Heiko was born in Germany and moved to the United States with his parents in 1965. He attended school in Columbia, Maryland before graduating from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County with a degree in mathematics. He worked as a software project manager for an FAA radar contractor for many years while living in Maryland, New Jersey, New Hampshire and Utah. Heiko is the beloved eldest son of Heidi, who survives him. as does his father, Helmut, both of Columbia. He is also survived by his brothers, Bernd of Silver Spring, MD, Thomas of Laurel, MD and Olaf of Arlington, VA. Heiko was the proud uncle of two nephews, Liam and Niall, both of Silver Spring. The family will hold a memorial service, which friends are welcome to attend on Sunday, April 19, 2009, promptly at 11 a.m. and please contact Bernd Jaehnigen for additional memorial service information at 301-742-3763 or [email protected] .
