HELEN EDELSTEIN (Age 83)  
Of Richmond, formerly of Silver Spring, Md., passed away December 18, 2010 due to complications of Alzheimer's Disease. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Sidney. She was the devoted mother of Dr. Michael C. Edelstein and cherished mother-in-law of Beth Reiman Edelstein. She was loved and treasured by her three grandchildren, Lauren, Mark and Scott Edelstein; and was a beloved aunt to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was a supervisor and Administrative Officer for the Voice of America in Washington, D.C., where she worked for 41 years. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday in the chapel of Richmond Beth El Cemetery at Forest Lawn, 4000 Pilots Lane. Shiva will be observed at the home of Michael and Beth Edelstein. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Temple Beth El or the Beth Sholom Home, Richmond, VA.
