DR. HENRY K. SILBERMAN, LT. COL. (RET.), died December 3, 2003 in Richmond, VA. Born in Breslau, Germany, in 1914, he came to the United States in 1940, served in the U.S. Army from 1941-46, graduated from NYU's School of Medicine, and reentered the Army, serving in Denver, Stuttgart, and Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He was married to Janina Jonas Silberman, formerly of Manchester, England. His children Ralph Silberman of Arlington, Shirley Silberman of Richmond, VA, and Eleanor Silberman of Santa Rosa, CA, his daughter-in-law Margaret Clark and two grandchildren, Evan and Magdalen Silberman, all of Arlington, also survive him. The family will sit shiva in Arlington on Sunday, December 7 beginning at 4 p.m. and on Tuesday, December 9, beginning at 7 p.m.
