Herbert Leonard Chabot
Herbert Leonard Chabot "Herb" (91), of Aspen Hill, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022. Herb is survived by his wife of 71 years, Aleen Chabot; children Elliot (Chris Swan), Donald (Nicki Sideris), Lewis, Nancy Jo (Parker Potter); grandchildren Jules and Niko Chabot and Sophie Potter. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, 10 a.m. at Judean Chapel with interment to follow at Judean Memorial Gardens, 16225 Batchellors Forest Road, Olney, MD 20832. Shiva will be held via Zoom for three evenings. Donations may be made to Family and Nursing Care Foundation (familynursingcare.com/foundation), Children's National Hospital Fund (childrensnational.org) or those who are willing and able are encouraged to donate blood through the American Red Cross.

I thank the Chabot family for sharing their indelible patriarch with us, for their steadfast leadership in the community, for welcoming my own family in so many ways and for Herb Chabot's wisdom, honesty and fairness in his work with the Aspen Hill LAC.
