Homer Diehl McKalip

Homer Diehl McKalip, age 92, of Springfield, Virginia, passed away on September 14, 2025. He was born July 13, 1933, in West Chester, Pennsylvania. He graduated from the Pennsylvania State University and received a Master's degree from George Washington University. At Penn State he was a member of ROTC and entered the U.S. Army in 1955. Diehl retired as a colonel after 30 years of military service and continued to serve our country in the Department of Defense for an additional 13 years. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, three children, four grandchildren, and a sister. No services are scheduled at this time. He will be laid to rest at a date to be determined.
