Howard Flieger Obituary
On Saturday, December 6, 2003 of Bethesda, MD. Husband of Audrey R. Flieger; father of Laura F. Phelan and her husband, Michael of Richmond, VA. Survived by one brother, Kenneth Flieger of Washington, DC. Also survived by three grandchildren, Michael, Kate and Patrick. Friends may call at JOSEPH GAWLER'S SONS, 5130 Wisconsin Ave., N.W. (at Harrison St.), on Wednesday, December 10, 2003 from 10 to 11 a.m., where memorial services will follow at 11 a.m. Inurnment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Howard W. Flieger to Northstar Academy, 8055 Shrader Rd., Richmond, VA 23294.

I worked with Howard as his investment advisor for 20 years. He was an extremely intelligent man who gave me his trust and loyalty. I felt a tremendous sense of responsibility because of this. I am thankful for knowing him all these years and the close association that we enjoyed.
