HUGO A. SCHIATTAREGGIA
On Thursday January 6, 2011 Hugo A. Schiattareggia of Chevy Chase, MD. Beloved husband of Nancy P. Schiattareggia and loving father of Dominic J. Schiattareggia (Julie), Gena S. Conte (Stephen). Preceded in death by a brother and sister, Joseph Schiattareggia and Annie Coletti. Survived by brother Dominic L. Schiattareggia and sister Anette Pellerito. Grandfather of Cole and Alec. Relatives and friends are invited to call at Joseph Gawler's Sons, 5130 Wisconsin Ave NW Washington DC 20016 on Wednesday January 12, 2011 from 2 until 4 p.m. and from 6 until 8 p.m. Mass Of Christian Burial will be offered at Saint Dominic's Catholic Church, 630 E ST S.W. Washington DC 20024 on Thursday, January 13 at 10 a.m. Interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. John's College High School Scholarship Fund, 2607 Military Rd., NW, Washington, DC 20015.

I knew Hugo and Dominic and their father when I was a kid. My father was a barber
in Southeast DC and cut their hair. I remember all of the Schiattareggias as
hard working and God fearing people and
a tribute to their Italian culture. Hugo will be sorely missed.
