ISAAC FULWOOD, JR. Former DC Police Chief Former US Parole Chairman
On Friday, September 1, 2017. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Ruth Elizabeth Fulwood; son, Gary Fulwood; daughter, Angela Fulwood-Wood (George); two grandsons, Brayden and Brent Wood; two sisters, Jessie Mae Fulwood and Mildren Howard (Curtis); a host of other relatives friends and colleagues. Visitation 9 a.m. until time of service, 11 a.m. on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Ebenezer AME Church, 7707 Allentown Rd., Forestville, MD. Interment Lincoln Cemetery, Suitland, MD.

My condolences to you Ruth and your family, may you find strength to carry on for your loved ones. Ike (as Ruth called you) I will always remember you and your greatness, as well as your loving family God's peace for everyone of you.
Ike and my mom's funeral both on 9/11, her's in 2006.
As you reflect about the memories you shared with Mr. Fulwood, remember to smile, laugh, and even cry! All three will help with healing. I'm here Ruth if you need a shoulder to lean on; I will always be a big "fan" of the Fulwood family.

I was saddened to hear of Chief "Ike" Fulwood's passing. I felt that he was a great leader, and I enjoyed working for him. I had not seen or talked to him for many years, but my heart and prayers go out to the family as I know that you will miss him greatly, just as I will. May he rest in peace.

To the Family of Chief Isaac Fulwood Jr,
I have a fond memory of you and Chief Fulwood. Many years ago, you gave a birthday party for him at the restaurant in the Design Center in SW DC. I came in by accident, not knowing it was a private party. But you didn't kick me out. Thank you.
Many years later, I ran into the Chief in public and he recognized me. He didn't remember from where. I reminded him when I accidentally crashed his birthday party. We laughed.
