ISTVAN NYIRJESY
On September 28, 2011. Loving husband of 54 years of Michelle, who preceded him in death on January 11, 2011; devoted father of Paul Nyirjesy, Christine Bragale and the late Francis Nyirjesy; father-in-law of Lucie and Karen Nyirjesy and Charles Bragale; grandfather of Letitia and Nicolas Nyirjesy, Sarah and Gabrielle Nyirjesy, Christopher and Elisabeth Bragale; brother of Margit Bory. Friends may call from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, October 14 at JOSEPH GAWLER'S SONS, 5130 Wisconsin Ave, NW. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Church of St. Bartholomew, 6900 River Road, Bethesda, MD at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 15. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mercy Health Clinic, 7 Metropolitan Court, Suite 1, Gaithersburg, MD 20878. Interment will take place at the Benedictine Monastery of Pannonhalma in Hungary at a later date. www.josephgawlers.com

When I entered surgery with your father years ago he made me feel as secure as if I was in my father's arms. He was a man interested in his patients not just their ailments. I missed him since the day he retired but now he is in God's hand. I hope you find comfort for you have lost your father. my God be with now and always.
