Otis was my neighbor. We spoke often outside at the days end about almost everything. He was kind, thoughtful, intelligent and
generous. Otis was a wonderful human being. He will be remembered and forever missed. I pray he is at peace in Gods protecting arms.

Your son was my friend. We didn´t talk everyday or see each other on a regular basis, but when we saw each other, it was if we did. I don´t have the words to express what I feel in my heart, because my heart hurts. Yet I think about Otis´ spirit and it gives me peace. I pray for his dad and all connected to Otis. When you feel down, just look up and I know we will all get the strength we need.

I am in dismay and my heart hurts. I will keep Otis thanksgiving message. I will miss your HBCU messages keeping everyone in the loop. I thank you for your love for the 105 Voices of History-HBCU National Choir! My heart has an empty friendship space "Otis"

Mr. Harris, you will truly be missed. I will never forget how much you helped me when I was your student teacher and in the Marching Band at BSU.

I´m still in shock, Otis was a gentleman and a class act . We was always in great spirits and willing to assist. We will certainly be missed by everyone he encountered. Rest on my brother.
