I had the privilege of meeting Dr. Goldstein and listening to his story at the American Jewish Military History Museum when i attended the Friends of the WWII Memorial Summer Teachers Conference in July 2018. He was passionate and charming and represented the greatest generation admirably. May his memory be for a blessing.

Dear Linda, Susan, Daniel and families --
Jack graced the sky and earth. I got to know him, fortunately, nearly a decade ago at the annual 381st Bomb Group reunions, and so enjoyed his company. After my dad and fellow WWII vet Lew Perrone moved to Edgewater six years back, Jack invited and drove him to the weekly luncheons of "The Lost Patrol." When I would express appreciation for his gracious efforts, Jack would downplay them. "You don't need to thank me," he'd say. "Anyway, I like the little fella."
Please know that my dad and I share in your loss of an American hero and stand-up guy.
In sympathy,
Vinnie Perrone

Dr. Goldstein was a treasured member of our WWII 381st Bomb Group Memorial Association and we are very saddened to learn of his passing. He was an active member and frequent attendee at our annual 381st reunions. We honor his military service as a B-17 combat crew waist gunner over a tour of 25 combat missions. Jack was a kind and humble gentleman who never sought attention for himself but instead honored his fallen comrades. We extend our sincere sympathy and condolences to his children and grandchildren. He will be remembered at the memorial service of our next annual reunion. Rest in peace, Jack.

Dr. Goldstein was a wonderful man, a great dentist and pharmacist. We worked together at Montgomery County Health Department and have stayed in touch. I know he was loved by his family and will be missed by all who knew him. God acquired another Angel. May he Rest In Peace.
