Dear Theresa, Michael, Gail and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. You are all such dear, sweet, Christ loving children of God. Try to remember all of the special and loving times you shared with your father. And, know that you are being lifted up in prayer during this difficult time. Everyone walks this earth with a purpose, and your father raised wonderful kind loving children. Being parents yourselves I am sure your realize how special his gift was. God bless and comfort you all.

I don't think I ever met your father but I know what it's like - I lost mine 22 years ago - so please accept my most sincere condolences. Keep the happy memories alive and they'll comfort and cheer you as time goes by.

Farewell, Mr. Watterson. May your reunion with your loving wife enable your light to shine forever. I'll always remember you for your love of trains, photography, dogs, and family -and the strong discipline that extended beyond the boundaries of your immediate family, to your children's closest friends too :-) Now that I am an adult and a parent, I recognize your often stern guidance demonstrated your concern not just for Patti, but also for me. And we turned out OK. Thank you.
