Jackie Frederick Coe

1949 - 2024

Of Woodbridge, VA, died in Fredericksburg, VA on June 5, 2024. He was born in Nuremberg, Germany in 1949 to Sidney H. Coe and Maria S. Coe and grew up in Langley Park, MD. Jack attended High Point High School and received his bachelor's degree in Administration of Justice from American University.
He was a member of The Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia in Washington, DC, where he proudly served for 26 years. Jack was a major part of the DC Crime Lab Unit for 21 years and a member of the Association of Retired Police Officers. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Sid and Maria; uncle and aunt Norman E. and Anna M. Coe; and cousin John Coe and is survived by cousins Eileen Coe, Erin (John) Fristoe, John Jr., and Alison (Drew) Cowley, as well as six great cousins Maggie, Cullen, and Keegan Fristoe and Grayson, Gavin, and Connor Coe.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday June 13, 2024 at 10 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Olney, MD. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to COPS (Concerns of Police Survivors) would be greatly appreciated.
