On Thursday, September 1, 2016, JACOB TROMBKA of Rockville, MD. Beloved husband of Elsie Wiener Trombka. Devoted father of Barbara (Michael) Blaustein, David and Aron (Lynn) Trombka and Benjamin (Diane) Saketkhou. Loving grandfather of Joshua and Ezra (Adina) Blaustein, Eynot (Uriel) Lichtenstein, Shlomo (Shachar), Aviya, Chananel, Elana, Sara and Shoshana Trombka and Maya, Shara, Mayrav, Daphna and Ella Saketkhou. Dear great-grandfather of Ora Blaustein and Neta, Yonatan, Avishag and Kerem Lichtenstein. Graveside funeral services were held on Friday, September 2, 2016. Memorial contributions may be made to Magen David Adom. Arrangements entrusted to TORCHINSKY HEBREW FUNERAL HOME, 202-541-1001 (endorsed by The Rabbinical Council of Greater Washington).

I am so very sorry and left speechless at the news of Jack's passing. So many wonderful things can be said about him, but I will sum it up in these few words: He was a mensch in every sense of the word. I am blessed to have called him friend.
