James Atherton Obituary


JAMES K.W. ATHERTON  
Peacefully passed on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at his home in Annapolis, MD. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Patricia H. Atherton, his children, Michael Atherton (Kathy Lewis), Robin Atherton, Jamie (Chad) Kirkley and Steven (Megan) Atherton. Also survived by his brother, Fairfax Atherton and 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 2 p.m., St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 10401 Armory Avenue, Kensington, MD. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church or a charity of your choice.

Mrs. Atherton & family.....I was deeply saddened to hear of Mr. Atherton's passing. I always enjoyed his visits while at work along with his stories. I will continue to hold a special place in my heart for you both. May you find comfort from God along with all the wonderful stories from memories yet to be told......
