You betcha RedRyder! A phrase I always remember the Commodore saying. I was his first Chop... Supply Officer for IUW Group Two for almost four years. When we were re-establishing the whole IUW organization. Fair Winds and peace to you and your family. Thomas F. Harris II, LCDR, SC., USNR Ret

Jim was an outstanding example and mentor as a friend and Naval officer. His focused devotion and commitment to the Inshore Undersea Warfare Program was the inspiration and source of satisfaction to IUW units nationwide. He worked tirelessly to ensure the financial, operational, and training resources met the needs of the Navy and all the assigned active duty & reservist personnel. His vision & personal force ensured that the organization met service needs, including transfer to the active forces.
Countless men and women in the IUW Program were able to provide useful, satisfying service by virtue of his efforts.

We salute the family of this great leader & individual. God Bless you all.

A role model for every naval officer fortunate to come into his orbit. A loyal friend with a genius for guiding subordinates with wisdom and humor. A brave man who endured some terrific challenges, including cancer, and overcame it all. Thank you Jim. Your passing leaves us poorer. Bobbie and I miss you but you remain in our hearts and prayers.
