James Albert Brown, Jr. "JB"
Entered eternal rest on Monday, July 19, 2021. James was preceded in death by his parents, James, Sr. and Jessie Brown and first wife Victoria Lee Brown. James leaves to cherish his precious memory, a loving wife, Jeanette Abston Brown and his son, Myron Brown (Shadey); his daughters, Musetha Brown, Darlene Fitts, Anita Brown, Kimberly Gordon; his stepchildren, Linda Dockery (Harvey), Sharon Hardy (Orlando), Bridget Edwards, Rena Abston, and Floyd Abston (Gisele); his grandchildren, Myron, Jr. (Timmy), Madison and Matthew Brown; Marcus and Nicole Fitts; Noble Mensah-Brown; Brooke and Eric, II Gordon; step-grandchildren, Natasha Dockery, Christy Arcangeli (Gian), Nicole Dockery; Orlando Hardy; Joseph Chase, Keith Beckett, II; Philip, Branden, and Jessika Edwards; Jasmine, Jade, Jamison, and Jalin Abston; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Edward Ernest Brown and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Arrangements by Stewart Funeral Home, Inc. Mr. Brown will lie in state at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 3800 Ely Place, SE, Washington, DC 20019 on Friday, August 6, 2021, from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. COVID-19 protocols will be observed. Thank you for being who you were, great husband, fantastic father, and for me, an outstanding friend and neighbor. I´ll always remember our encounters and the few times you let me help distribute newspapers with you so very early in the mornings. Now it´s your time to rest my friend. Eternal peace is finally yours. Sleep well and I´ll see you on the other side of Midnight...
