JAMES JOHN CHILDS (Age 67)  
Of Upper Marlboro, MD entered into eternal rest on April 23, 2011. James was born to the late James Francell and Anna M. Childs. He leaves to cherish his memory, a loving and devoted wife of 23 years, Saundra Clevert Childs; three children, Ariana Lee-Kane, Brandon W. Childs and Tracia L. Steele; five grandchildren; one sister, Barbara L. Childs; one brother, David F. Childs; one son-in-law, eights sisters-in-law, five brothers-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services will be held on Saturday, April 30; visitation 12:30 p.m., funeral 1 p.m. at J.B. JENKINS FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, INC., 7474 Landover Rd., Landover, MD. Interment will follow on Monday at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

I was shocked to hear of Jim's passing while logging in to the credit union page. He encouraged me to attend the EFCU committee meetings which helped me greatly. Your energy and encouragment will be greatly missed. God bless your family, Rest in Peace brother Jim.

Jim was loved and we all enjoyed the many celebrations together over the years. What great fun we had. He will be missed.

I was truely shock to find out about the passing of Mr. Jim. He was a good friend to my parents and family. Mr. Jim had away about him that could only make you smile.
