On Friday, June 7, 2002, of Ruther Glen, VA. Father of Ruby C. Patterson; two grandchildren, James Carpenter and Valerie Clements; two great-grandchildren, Shelly Harmon and Sidney Carpenter. Also survived by two cousins, Orpha Bare and Bertha Fairfax. Friends may call at ADAMS-GREEN FUNERAL HOME, 721 Elden St., Herndon, VA, on Tuesday, June 11, from 6 to 8 p.m., where services will be held on Wednesday, June 12 at 1 p.m. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery, Bealeton, VA.

This was my Grandfather for almost
40 years. He was the most loving and caring man I've ever known. My
grandmother and him pretty much raised me. Through out my life I have cherished them and they have cherished me.My sense of loss cannot be described in words, I'll never forget James Henry Fairfax.
born 7-22-03 passed away 6-7-02 in my home. granddaddy I did my best I hope it was good enough. I love you.
