James Gilchrist Obituary
On Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at Medlink Hospital. Beloved husband of Bessie Gilchrist; father of Willie Gilchrist, Larry Gilchrist, Bernice Jones, Delorise (Maurice) Anderson and Teresa Gilchrist. He also leaves to cherish his memory 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Marie Gilchrist, Rose Fair and Ethel Walton, and a host of other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends on Monday, July 11, at New Birth Prayer Missionary Baptist Church, 4515 Sheriff Rd. N.E., from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, July 12, at New Home Baptist Church, 8320 Landover Rd., from 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral at 11 a.m. Interment Harmony Memorial Park. Services entrusted to B.K. HENRY.
