To the Halpin Family, so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. Although I did not meet him during our time in high school at St. Mary's Academy, especially with Sue, I realized through reading his obituary that he lived a life of purpose.
What times we experienced with our awakening' in the early 1970s of our calling to advocate for social justice. Our parents' desire and/or sacrifice for a Catholic progressive education through their loving covenant with the SMA Sisters of the Holy Cross partnering with lay faculty and in our call-to-action parishes, such as Good Shepherd give us a legacy to carry on. In gratitude to your dad for what he has done and for your family for staying woke and resilient in these turbulent times to designate donations to the DNC for our common good and the values and people we hold dear in this Earthly Incarnate Life.
