JAMES LEGRANT, JR.
James Legrant, Jr. of Forestville, MD on Monday May 28, 2012 in Poughkeepsie, NY. Beloved husband of Beverly; father of Octavia, James III, Brendan, Bryan; son of Edna Legrant; brother of Derrick and Trina; uncle of Jermon and Derrick II and host of other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his father. Funeral Friday 12 noon at Gospel Art Temple, 4551 Benning Rd., SE., Viewing 11 to 12 noon. Burial at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery.

We just talked a few days before Memorial Day while walking to the metro. He was always pleasant when I saw him at work and was always respectful and nice to everyone in ACF. He will be missed. I will continue to keep his family in prayer.

Words alone cannot express our sympathy on the untimely death of your beloved husband, father, brother and friend. To say that his time with us was far too short is an understatement. The reality is that he will be sorely missed by all who loved and knew him.
No doubt the outpouring of sympathy you have received since his parting has been of some consolation. Hopefully it will serve as a reminder to you of how well-loved and liked Grant was.
I hope that you and your family will find peace and comfort in knowing that his suffering is over and that his just rewards await him.
