James McGuire Obituary
JAMES "JIM" A. McGUIRE (Age 74)
Of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina passed away on Monday, November 13, 2006 in Alexandria. He worked for GTE government communication systems for 27 years in the DC area. Jim was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Jim McGuire was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Crystal. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lois J. McGuire; three sons, Patrick, Michael and Timothy McGuire; four daughters, Therese Fuller, Maureen McAleese, Kathleen Angelini and Colleen Claussen; one sister, Kathleen Wheeler; 19 grandchildren, Jaimee, Jennie, Tim, Fawn, Chelsea, Derek, Dylan, Marco, Brennan, Austin, Brittany, Meghan, Courtney, Kelly, Delaney, Kayla, Logan, Kyle and Alex and three great-grandchildren, Ryan, Piper and J.T. Relatives and friends may call JEFFERSON FUNERAL CHAPEL, 5755 Castlewellan Drive, Alexandria, VA 22315 on Sunday, November 19, 2006 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 20, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church, 2907 Popkins Lane, Alexandria, VA 22306 with Fr. Staples officiating. Interment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery in Alexandria, VA. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his name to Sacred Heart High School, 542 Cypress Ave., Garden City, SC 29576 Attn: Fr. Ray Carlos.

We are so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He had been in our thoughts for the last few weeks knowing that maybe we should call to check on him, but we didnt and learned of his death only today on the 18th.
